Mixed lemur exhibits

Curious if lemurs are ever exhibited in mixed species enclosures. I don't think I have ever seen that and it seems like it could be a neat exhibit. Have any of you ever seen those?

Bronx Zoo has collared and ring-tailed lemurs mixed together, as well as with radiated tortoises and various bird species.

Chester also has three species of lemurs together in a walk-through exhibit.

I've heard that they've been mixed with Pygmy Hippo before but I forgot which zoo did that

I've seen it happen a couple of times. At Safari Zoo Cumbria in the north of England, many of their lemurs live in a "Worldwide Safari" walkthrough exhibit with a lot of other species, including emu, wallabies, kangaroos, ducks and geese, muntjac deer and capybara. This area really feels like a "Hmm, we don't really have anywhere else to put these species but we also don't want to get rid of them, let's just put them all together!" kind of walkthrough.

The zoo's Andean bear enclosure is next to this walkthrough, obviously fenced off from the rest of it, but there's nothing stopping lemurs from getting in there, they can just climb up onto the wooden walkway that allows you to look down into the bear enclosure, and it's low enough for them to jump down and jump back out again. I went to a keeper talk for the bears, as the keeper was throwing food in, a red ruffed lemur got into the enclosure and swiped some of the food.

Those look and sound like neat exhibits. What I meant was are lemurs kept in mixed lemur exhibits. Like ringtails with red ruff lemurs for example?

It's not uncommon. The zoo I mentioned in my above post has three different species (ring-tails, red ruffed and black and white ruffed) living together in the same area, and Edinburgh Zoo has ring-tails and red-bellied lemurs sharing an enclosure (or at least an indoor space)

Cotswold Wildlife Park has a Madagscan walthrough with Ring Tailed and Collared Lemurs plus various Madagscan birds. When I visited some years ago there was also an elderly single Sifaka (Crowned I think) but he has since passed away. It is a very impressive display.

Omaha mixes a few of theirs, I think.

I've seen several at non-AZA zoos, along with lemurs mixed with a bunch of different monkey species.

Many, many zoos (probably most of them) mix different lemur species with each-other, and naming all of them, while possible, would be pretty hard. Mixes with tortoises (mainly Radiated & Aldabra) aren’t uncommon either. I even saw them mixed with 5 different macaw species at Safari North Wildlife Park.

Hamilton Zoo have a mixed lemur exhibit of Ring-tailed lemur and male Black and white ruffed lemur. The female Black and white ruffed lemur live in a seperate exhibit due to aggression issues. This is apparently common amongst ruffed lemur females - especially when in estrus.

Completely forgot about the only AZA zoo in my state :D Brandywine Zoo has a newer exhibit with ringtail, b&w ruffed, and mongoose lemurs.

Kobe animal kingdom keeps their lemurs in an aviary with four species of duck, three species of ibis, great white pelicans, and black-necked stilt

Here is a list of zoos in Belgium that keep ring-tailed lemurs with other species:
Planckendael: ring-tailed lemur and black lemur
Pakawi Park: ring-tailed lemur and guinea pig
Pairi Daiza: ring-tailed lemur, crowned lemur, red ruffed lemur and black and white ruffed lemur
Bellewaerde Park: ring-tailed lemur and red ruffed lemur
Sanctuary de Zonnegloed: ring-tailed lemur, common brown lemur and probably also reeves' muntjac

It's been done a lot, although i won't be sure if that's a good idea. There certainly quite a few mixed individuals of B&W ruffed lemur x red ruffed lemur.

Well...I don't think there's any harm in lemurs living together, and I don't think there can be any major problems with turtles. Although I find the idea that they have done in Pakawi Park very strange. There they have guinea pigs with their ring-tailed lemurs. I don't think it can cause any big problems, but I can imagine baby lemurs, for example, will tease or be afraid of the guinea pigs.

The Sifaka is still there (well it was as of two weeks ago...), and I think it's the offspring of the breeding pair rather than being elderly. :)
