Shoebills, they are one of the coolest waterfowl and that part of the park does of primarily African animals

That's also very nice but they are very rare in European captivity (only 3 holder according to zootierliste).
That could work, maybe at some other waterfowl species. Maybe some species of duck or kingfisher?
Like the Australian wood duck (Chenonetta jubata), they are also very common in European zoos so not hard to get.
I love that idea and I love the shoebill BUT...
They also live in Eastern Africa.
You seem to be good with birds, what aviary would it best suit?
well maybe the Aussie waterfowl like what was mentioned earlier or or a North American/ European waterfowl exhibit or something like an otter or Gharial exhibit (Edit I meant False Gharial actual Gharials would be too big)

Stop it, I've been trying my best to hold back. My biology teacher even asked "And did you add gharials?" after reading my overexcited essay on them last year
So either Aussie WaterFowl, Otter, or Gharial
Well, I already added the European otter in woods and they already have the Asian small clawed otter. Waterfowl are honestly kind of boring. And I may or may not have added four other crocodillians already. If we'd add the gharial they'd have six species of crocodillians. Which is a quarter of all crocodillian species
Also, I wanna close up the spoonbill situation, vulture aviary or wading walkthrough aviary?
Wading for the spoonbill. Give me a sec to figure out the flamingo exhibit
Ok how about either a fishing cat exhibit or a pelican/Inca tern exhibit or this could be where the pygmy hippo comes back to Burgers
Pygmy hippo would be great, but I don't think there's enough space. Fishing cat is a good idea
Actually its a pretty good sized exhibit if you include the grassy lawn between the pond and circular viepoint

It is still big enough to include a house, I am currently using google maps street view and it is definitely big enough

I'm finalising the Desert expantion, I currently have the Black tailed prairie dog, Prairie chicken, Wild turkey, Common raccoon, Striped skunk and Virginia opossum. Which of these can go in a walkthrough, and which ones can go together. Striped skunk might be bad for a walkthrough because of spraying risk. But can the rest go together AND in a walkthrough?
All animals do occur in the desert and great plains, I think there's space for two enclosures. One walkthrough and one non-walkthrough
