I believe Zoorasia in Japan mixes (or mixed) Cheetahs with Giraffes, Zebras, & ElandsWhat have cheetahs been mixed with? I know they have been mixed with rhinos.
Besides the mixes with black rhinos, white rhinos, zebras, Elands and giraffes, they were mixed with Cattle in the Safaripark Pombia, with glapagos tortoises and African Spurred Tortoises in theWhat have cheetahs been mixed with? I know they have been mixed with rhinos.
No problemHow about Himalayan tahr, Domestic yak and Blue sheep in a large mountain enclosure?
Lemurs and Aldabra tortoises have been mixed together before with no problem (see Dallas zoo), however I’m not sure about pygmy hippopotamuses, I do not know much about them so I am unsure how they would react in an environment like this.Wouldn't it be a good idea to mix lemurs with adabra giant tortoises or with pygmy hippopotamuses to recreate the extinct malagasy giant tortoises and the dwraf hippopotamuses of madagascar ? Lemurs are abd will become more and more common in Zoos, and this gives a unique, intresting and educational mix of species
They have been mixed quite often with other primates, big and smal, aboral and terrestrial. So I see now problem. Even with big and more agrasive species like mandrils and gibbons.Lemurs and Aldabra tortoises have been mixed together before with no problem (see Dallas zoo), however I’m not sure about pygmy hippopotamuses, I do not know much about them so I am unsure how they would react in an environment like this.
For me there isn't any problem with most North American birds (except predators as eagles, hawks and large owls). What types of other birds could you keep wild turkeys with in a large aviary? Preferably species from a somewhat similar range and/or habitat.

I'd avoid most other ground-dwelling or ground-feeding birds. Not as much for the turkeys sake as it is for the other birds' sake. Turkeys can be fairly aggressive and can also be stress-inducing to other ground birds. For me there isn't any problem with most North American birds (except predators as eagles, hawks and large owls).
Yes, I've thought too late to the other galliformes (Quails, Bobwhites, Sage-grouses...) that may be disturbed by the Turkeys.I'd avoid most other ground-dwelling or ground-feeding birds. I believe Dallas Zoo has mixed them with zebra, ostrich, guineafowl, and possibly giraffe. What has been mixed with African elephants?
Beekse Bergen keeps them with Hamadryas Baboons, Dallas keeps them with Zebra, Impala, Giraffe, and guinea fowl, Boras Djurpark keeps them with Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, African buffalos, blesboks and ostriches, Tampa's Lowry park zoo keeps them with Impala, Rhenen keep them with red river hogs, and Safari de Peaugres keeps them with Wort Hog, and Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo keeps them with ZebraWhat has been mixed with African elephants?
The issue with this is that if you want to mix birds with a potential predator (dragons, crocodilians, etc.) you need to use "low value" species as accidents are going to be inherent, if rare. Bali mynahs are too valuable of a species for this mix to be worth it.Would Komodo dragon and Bali mynah be a reasonable mix?
Komodo dragons are sometimes mixed with finches, and the birds generally stay high up anyway, so any birds with the dragons ought to be safe as long as there are plenty of perching opportunities and I suppose sources of water away from one the dragons can use.
