Mixed species exhibit ideas

@Animals R AMAZING! Well written and thank you.

@Westcoastperson There's indeed some irony here. For once, in my posts that you feel offended by and entitled to scold me for. Secondly, that you dish out "advice", but can't follow well-meant advice when it would be wiser to do so. And thirdly, that you're now the one apologizing for being "rude". :D
You don't have to explain anything to me. And you don't have to assume anything about what I know and don't know. If you do want to assume something about me, then that I probably know more about the subject in question than you do. I admit - that does sound arrogant, but after all, as you yourself put it, I'm a "professional".*
I'm not a "they / them" (after all, I'm not a royal...*), and I would strongly advise (sic) anyone not to use that silly ideology when addressing me. I'm 1.0.*
If you prefer, we can use the "Ignore" option on one another; that would spare others such pointless arguments so that they can continue with their equally pointless projects.;)*

*Once again: humor;)

I've been searching ZC for a little bit trying to find good kiwi pictures and discovered that they have quite a few mixes

-With white-backed magpie in Avifauna

- With Guira Cuckoo, Black-Headed Gonolek and Blue-Faced Honeyeater in the National aviary

-With Lesser Short-tailed Bat in Auckland zoo

-With tawny frogmouth in Colombus zoo

-With red-fronted and yellow-fronted parakeet in Zlín zoo

-With laughing kookaburra in Toledo zoo

-With tuatara (!), New Zealand wood pigeon, Tūī, Red-crowned parakeet, Silvereye, Brown quail, White-faced heron, Grey teal, New Zealand shoveller and New Zealand Scaup in Otorohanga bird park (note that this is a walkthrough as well!)

Does anyone know of any others?

What species can gorillas live with?
For the last time, read before asking questions. I don't know how many times we've got to tell you this... Go back through this thread or search it up because I know for a fact this has been discussed in this very thread before. I hate to say the same thing over and over again to you but there's no point in discussing the same or similar things over and over again when all you have to do is take a few minutes to search things up. But I will say, other than the species Haliaeetus just pointed out; mongoose, a few bird species, and a few hoofstock species like nyala have been done in the past.

@LionTamarin Seriously, use the resources posted. Both the AZA and EAZA have Gorilla husbandry manuals publicly available, links to both sites are in the resources thread. A quick search of Zoochat should also give some answers.

Tawny frogmouth in the Bronx.

Hello Everyone!
I am currently working on a project but will not be posting it to Zoochat. I know this may sound very out of the ordinary but could Toco Toucan and Bali Myna work together?
Thanks a lot,
Mai Thai

Are you intending to breed the mynas?

Could Topi live with black wildebeest, cape bushbuck, greater kudu, Grevy's zebra, Masai giraffe and sable antelope?

I did my research both on Google and the Zoochat gallery, but I only found proofs of Topi with ostrich and marabu stork at San Antonio Zoo, no other mix seems to have been done

I think it would depend a lot on the size of the exhibit.

Also, zebras often cause problems in mixed exhibits due to their aggression, and can be a serious danger to calves of antelopes that lie down and remain more or less hidden during their first few weeks.

The only successful mixes with Grevy's zebras that I know of are with large antelopes and/or giraffe in large facilities like safari parks.

For the interactions between the different antelope species the only resource I can think of quickly would be the AZA ungulate mixed exhibits manual (see the resources thread for that one).

Which of the above mentioned hoofstock falls in the "great antelope" category?
