I can't say for sure, I've never heard of a crocodilian + arapaima mix.
While Arapaima is not included, Shedd Aquarium mixes Dwarf Caiman with quite a few species of fish and turtles. The mix is as follows:
Coffee Bean Tetra, Diagonalstripe Catfish, Dwarf Caiman, False Silver Tetra, Honeycomb Plecostomus, Matamata, Neon Tetra, Orange Spot Luna Silver Dollar, Snowball Pleco, Spotted Leporinus, Spotted Rafael Catfish, Striped Headstander, Striped Rafael Catfish, Threespot Leporinus

Check the temperature requirements - I am pretty sure North American turtle, gar and paddlefish and tropical South American species need different temperatures.
Also, alligator and the turtle will likely injure or eat the fish, unless it is a temporary exhibit with young reptiles.
A mix with a small caiman, side-necked turtle and adult fish could work.
I believe I've seen Arapaima and Paddlefish together, but I can't find the image again, sadly

Green iguana, Green basilisk, Red-footed tortoise, Two-toed sloth and Capybara would all be ideal safe walkthrough animals. All a bit basic, but that's because they're safe.
For birds it's a much longer list. Essentially all passerines go, as well as wading birds (Scarlet ibis, sunbittern). New world vultures could be a cool addition as long as there's enough space. Then there's ducks (White-faced whistling duck, Ringed teal), Doves (Picazuro pigeon, Blue ground dove), Ground birds (Chaco Chacalaca, Crested bobwhite) and Shorebirds (Black-winged stilt, Inca tern). And there's plenty of other birds of which I don't even know which family they belong to, but I know they're safe in a walktrhough Hall (Blue-throated piping-guan, Crested oropendola).
I gave a few examples but the list goes on for a while

Large parrots like macaws and amazon parrots can be very destructive in lush environments so I wouldn’t recommend them. They can work in some cases like in the South America aviary at Bioparc de Doue la fontaine. Parakeets and other small parrots should be okay to some extent.

A small group of parakeet should be fine. But they can be nuisances and cause stress to other animals
Yes, but they will predate eggs and young birds at ground level.

Probably with other waders, ducks, terns, small herons, ibises, spoonbills...
I may have seen this mix in the Great Aviary of the Jardin des Plantes de Paris, when it was dedicated to European birds (80/90's).
With weavers and Turtle doves in Artis
Stone Curlews in there when I visited three years ago, with Alexandrine Parrakeets, Red-billed Blue Magpies (which are also fairly predaceous
), and waterfowl. Lovely aviary that exhibits its inhabitants to perfection.Curlews I’m sure will tackle duck eggs…….I know Oystercatchers do!

Most mid-sized and small birds, also European pond turtles, rabbits, arctic hares - if there is an escape area.
