Does anyone know anything about the primate collection housed at the Higher Leigh Manor Hotel prior to the current owners buying the site and creating Combe Martin Wildlife Park

It was a Wooley Monkey sanctuary before being taken over in 1988, There are no records on site from that time so couldnt tell you any more than that

I believe it was the woolly monkey group belonging to Herbert Dornbrack which started at Banham Zoo and was later at Penscynor Wildlife Park . They were also in Scotland for a while and I think ended up at Apenheul in the Netherlands .

Did the Grey Langurs that CM received from somewhere- I think maybe Bristol and/or Twycross- all finally die off or are any still left?

They did Pertinax yes, where the Langers were are now 1.1.1 Lar Gibbons.
The enclosure is outdated but we are looking at swapping them to the other side where the Snow Leopards were once housed.
I will start another thread with an updated list of what we have now:)
