Most common species in Zoos?

I'm surprised about the NA river otter and sloth, as to this day I've still never seen either of these species before in my life.

How many North American zoos have you visited? Those easily rank as very, very common species for me (I've been to 59 US zoos, mostly in the Midwest).

They're not. The ones at Rosamond Gifford are only temporary and go back before winter.
