Most exotic animals seen on the pet trade

Without any competition. When I was curious about now closed down Zoo Zajac in Deuisburg. And they actually soled a earleass monitor lizzard. It was indfact the first time I saw the species

Any Andean or Guyanan cocks-of-the-rock in the American private trade?
I’ve seen screaming pihas sold once or twice, and known a private zoo to have purchased a pair of spangled cotingas, but I haven’t seen or heard of any cock-of-the-rocks for sale. Then again, Geoffroy’s cats and Przewalski’s horses (of dubious hybrid ancestry, of course) pop up from time to time in the private trade, so it wouldn’t surprise me.

I am also curious about smaller hoofstock species (such as dik-diks, duikers, pudus, musk deer and muntjacs) in private collections in the US. I know some ranches have muntjacs but are there any other species present? I imagine if there aren’t any then importing them is probably next to impossible due to restrictions on trade and regulations regarding importing hoofstock into the US.

I am not into the bloodsport hobby/business but I guess that what makes ranchers say "I want to sell the head of this animal" are horns, antlers and the size of the head, all of the animals you cite do not get much big except for some muntjacks and common duiker and none of them have big horns or antlers so it doesn't scream "macho kill" to sport hunters, thus why these animals could at best be found as exotic ornamental hoofstock, and if I'm not mistaken at least the dik-dik is found in the private trade (I imagine) for cute animal appeal.

I've seen Muntjac for sale on occasion.

I am aware of Reeves' Muntjac in the US exotic pet trade. There have been private keepers with North Indian Muntjac as well (most notably Shadow Nursery), but I'm unsure if that species persists in private hands.

There is at least one private keeper in Florida that I know has kept Common Duiker, Western Bay Duiker, and Blue Duiker. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more keepers, but they're definitely not common or a pet trade species, but rather something kept by specialists who do or have worked with zoos. I'm not sure if the Common Duiker persists today either, but the other two should.

I am unaware of anyone private currently or having recently kept dik-diks (I suppose except for Hempker, who owns a zoo), pudus, or musk-deer. The latter two in particular have always been rare in US zoo and it would really surprise me if any numbers of either species had made their way into the private trade.
