Most Species rich city (Best cities for zoos)

Jurong + River Safari + Night Safari + the Main Zoo + SEA Aquarium must have a pretty hefty number of species.

EDIT: SEA aquarium has over 1000, Jurong has over 400, the main zoo has at least 315, and river safari must have a lot given the number of freshwater fish (not necessarily overlapping all that much with the mainly saltwater aquarium).

One of my top locations to visit for zoos.

You could argue the Dallas Fort Worth as best for zoos but it is definitely wiped out by Chicago, New York, and Tokyo. As for species there isn’t much overlap between fossil rim and the zoos but they still don’t have enough species.

Eh I’d say in the DFW area Fort Worth and Dallas have the larger and wider range of species, while Fossil Rim (which I will be going to today), and the Dallas aquarium are more specialized causing them to have a ton of species that the other zoos don’t, as for Frank Buck I just now heard about it. :p

That’s what it sounded like. Fossil Rim does look like they have a lot of specialized species so I’m very excited to see your photos.
 
But are we discussing city as in area or as in city boundaries....

San Diego Zoo Safari Park is in Escondido and DFW area is well...more than one city.

Considering the metro area makes most sense in this instance, few people consider going to SDZSP as going to somewhere other than the San Diego area, if you get what I mean.
