What do you think is the most underrated animal exhibits in the world. These exhibits must be mostly not know.So most major such as san diego,Henry doorly etc, will be out of the question.

I'll start with my choice.Which is the chimpanzee exhibit at zoorasia.
I think this exhibit is easily world class and is absolutely amazing. The exhibit has 5 natural trees, although only one(technically two) is not wired(not electric)halfway up the tree. And has very lush shrubbery.

The only criticism I have of this exhibit is the weirdly unnecessary wires around the entire exhibit inside.

The Animals of the Amazon Exhibit at Jo'burg Zoo is severely underrated, Even the Zoo is mostly unheard of. The exhibit houses several notable species from South America, though lacking some main contenders like Jaguars or Tapirs it still is worth a spot on some of the best South America Exhibit out there.

The orangutan exhibit at Indianapolis.
Th orangutan exhibit at indianapolis definitely doesn't deserve the hate it gets. But I think it'll never be a great exhibit, good at best.Mostly bcz of the lack natural elements.
If it had fake trees in the outdoor and indoor exhibits and maybe some dirt or sand indoors it will be a pretty good exhibit.

I like old hoofstock exhibits at Zoopark Chomutov. They are very simple. You take large pieces of land and corral it by a row of sorted-out concrete panels that are left over from house construction nearby. Even after several decades, their pens for Alpine ibex, musk ox, moose or Buchara deer are the best of their kind you can find in any accredited Czech zoo. Both in animal wellfare and visually.

The African exhibits at the Living Desert mainly because of how close in climate and appearance they are to the animals true habitat. Especially the cheetah exhibit, while many cheetah exhibits mainly use grass, this one uses lots of shrubs and trees and gives the exhibit a perfectly naturalistic look.

The mhorr gazelle exhibit at Tierpark Hellabrunn, Munich.
The sloth bear exhibit complex at Naturzoo Rheine.
The camelidae exhibits at Tierpark Berlin.
The grizzly bear exhibit at Woodland Park Zoo.
The tortoise exhibit & the giant salamander complex at Prague Zoo.
The piranha tank at the National Aquarium Denmark.

Milwaukee's aviary truly is incredible. I've never seen another aviary building that actually feels like you are really birding outside in a forest. The list of rarities is low but for the experience alone it is probably my favorite aviary.
I love that building

The grizzly bear exhibit at WPZ is widely regarded as one of the best zoo exhibits ever built…certainly not “underrated”.

Maybe among you Americans. Many Non-Americans have never heard of it.

So: what are your suggestions? Other than trying to nitpick? ;)

Tierpark’s cameloid exhibits and Prague’s salamander exhibit are also well-regarded, even “among Americans” (zoo nerds only), so at the risk of being accused of nit-picking I am not sure they qualify as “underrated” either!

I think Pairi Daiza's white tiger enclosure.
While many don't think it's a good enclosure, I don't think it deserves so much hate as being said here.
The enclosure is located in a beautiful Cambodian temple (Angkor temple) which is made of real hard lava from the Merapi volcano, located in Java. It offers several great viewing perspectives for visitors, which don't seem to bother the tigers, as I have never seen them behaving stereotypically behaviour and they are always sleeping in the shade or on the steps of the temple, which indicates that they are not stressed, because you don't sleep with many people watching you, do you? They also have a big pool. There are only 2 tigers (brother and sister named Sanka and Mumbai), and for them, the enclosure is not too bad in size for them.
The enclosure was originally smaller, which can be seen in the enclosure. The enclosure consists of 2 parts: the rectangular section with stairs and the pool. The 2nd part is behind the first rectangular part and is square and is mainly only viewable from above. Between these 2 areas is a glass wall with a door, which is always open. You can see from this that it was not normally intended that both areas were accessible to tigers, the square area was originally for clouded leopards, which now have a smaller but probably better habitat in a greenhouse in the Chinese part. If the tigers only had the front rectangular section, the enclosure would certainly have been too small, but now it is not so bad.
However, I totally agree that in 1 or more corners of the enclosure (and believe me, there are many) could use more (large) plants, like bamboo. Also a large branch for them to climb on would be welcome.
However, Pairi Daiza goes to great lengths to keep the tiger occupied, so this compensates a bit for the near lack of plants.
The enclosure is now average in my opinion, but Pairi Daiza knowing it could have been so much better.

Well-regarded by whom - just self-proclaimed "zoo nerds"? And yes, you are nitpicking - and apparently trying to start an argument. Therefore, please let me repeat my previous, so far ignored, request: why don't you bring up your own examples? It would be quite educational to see what you define as "underrated". And who knows - maybe I can return the favor of nit-picking then?

This is not necessarily true. In fact, apathy (which could show itself as "always sleeping") is generally considered to be worse in terms of animal welfare that stereotypic behaviour. I'm not saying this is the case for the tigers in Pairi Daiza, but animals always sleeping does not indicate they are not stressed.

Personally I thought the tiger enclosure in PD was mediocre at best, especially considering how much money was likely spend to make the enclosure look impressive.

The white tigers in Pairi Daiza are not completely asleep. The male (I think this is the male anyway) really sleeps most of the time, the female I think I've seen 1 time she really sleeps, for the rest she lies down and looks out over her territory or walks around a bit.
