This tropical hall will have a floor space of 4000 m², including outside enclosures the total area will be 11000 m².
According to the article on their site they want to keep the following species in this hall:
Howler monkeys, sloths, giant river otters, Lowland tapirs, giant anteaters, free-flying birds and reptiles (not sure if they will be free-roaming)
This hall will also have a walkthough exhibit with lemurs, possibly red-ruffed lemurs according to a radio interview.

For all intense purposes: Meranti is a South-East Asian hardwood. Nothing against this, just the animal collection proposed is entirely South American ....

A new species of spider can be found in the aquarium: Hildegard a juvenile female Goliath birdeater (Theraphosa blondi).

An amazing species can now be found in the aquarium: Pygmy leaf chameleons (Rieppeleon brevicaudatus), which makes Allwetterzoo the only zoo in Germany to house this species. These chameleons were born in Jersey zoo (UK), Allwetterzoo used to have this species in the past and also bred them.

At least one of the Indian flying foxes is pregnant, an x-ray picture was taken as a precaution because the female had a bulbous belly which could have also been caused by a disease.
