Again Peruvian bush anoles - Polychrus peruvianus - have hatched at Münster. The species was first bred at the zoo in 2018. In zoos they are extremely rare and in Europe only 2 zoos are keeping this species.
Last Thursday the Common dwarf mongooses have been moved to their new enclosure near the vulture aviary

Good, the last time I was there, it realy shocked me. since the zoo started finally to modernize. I was thinking it was only temporary, But still, good the know. Iam going to see it for my self this summerThey moved to a larger exhibit in the same area. I am actually not 100% sure what has been in there before, could be tortoise or weaver birds. The old rhino iguana enclosure was too small for them for sure.
Cool, I haven't been in this place for years now, yet I have to look at the news about our situation with the virus. Maybe next year.A new exhibit for 0.2 Western Red Pandas was recently opened. Next to the aquarium
If you want to go. You HAVE to wait untill July. They building a big new tropical rainforrest hall. With great new species, liker giant otters, and howler monkeys. The Zoo finally starts to go out of its extrem medicore situation of the major german zoos.Cool, I haven't been in this place for years now, yet I have to look at the news about our situation with the virus.
