Here's a very interesting looking mutation that I have just seen being reported on - a leucistic nurse shark in the Turks and Caicos Islands. In this species, leucism often results in heavy spotting on a mostly white body.

This article released today includes what are probably the first high-quality camera trap photographs taken of a black leopard in Africa. The photographs were taken at Laikipia in Kenya - quite surprising as looking at photographs of the area it appears to be a fairly open savannah habitat rather than the deep rainforest that melanistic leopards normally inhabit.

Several media outlets are reporting this white (leucistic) grizzly bear in Canada. Apparently authorities have known of it for three years but kept it a secret until a member of the public recently filmed it and posted it on social media.
