This article released today includes what are probably the first high-quality camera trap photographs taken of a black leopard in Africa. The photographs were taken at Laikipia in Kenya - quite surprising as looking at photographs of the area it appears to be a fairly open savannah habitat rather than the deep rainforest that melanistic leopards normally inhabit.
