I've been an avid fan of zoos since I can remember. I currently work at one of the very first zoos I ever visited - Banham Zoo, UK. Not actually with the animals, but I do see them every day.

I've visited many zoos across the country, and also been to a few in mainland Europe. I'm always driven by the opportunity to see new animals. I can't list all the animals I've seen (that'd take too long), but I think I've been very fortunate to see what I have.

There's not really much else to say.

Yes I agree, it is important work that you do and often undervalued by many (but a zoo or any other institution wouldn't run without this work being done).
