My Speculative Plan For The Topeka Zoo

Their masterplan was originally a fantastic upgrade to the zoo, but quickly became an elimination of all their big name species and a giant children’s zoo that takes up tons of room.
 
If the zoo does actually get rid of the elephants, hippos, etc, I’d like to see them get some sort of large ursid besides the current black and sun bears. Even their plan for grizzlies is over now. Would polar bears ever work?

The current plan is for rhinos to occupy the current elephant and hippo area. For polar bears, I doubt even more than elephants returning that polar bears come to Topeka.

Yeah. Shame, now the closest area with Nile Hippos will be relatively far away. Honestly I don’t think Topeka should phase out elephants, but I do think that there’d be room for grizzlies. I don’t think that Topeka will ever get polar bears because of the current situation with them as a whole. Grizzlies would definitely work tho
