Yes, I am exited about going to Chester zoo. Please tell me which are the best exebitions to visit first. The last time I went I was in year 2 on a trip with school and I found it very boring mainly because we only visited the lions, tigers and lesser spotted kod kods.

Is there anything else I need to see?

There is the baby orang-utan, baby warty pigs and the new cheetah exhibit. As well as the Philippine crocs.

Realm of the Red Ape and the Tropical Realm are very good.

Look out for the baby warty pigs, they are cute.

Sorry I got mixed up between a rusty spotted cat and a Kod kod. Has Chester kept either of these species? There is no such thing as a lesser spotted kod kod!

I'll be going to Chester zoo soon, so I'll report back any news that I find out!

Rachnos, I think that a visit to the tapir enclosure should be worthwhile as there is still the young female tapir in that exhibit (name?)

It's OK Rachnos, everyone makes mistakes!

I have never seen a Kod Kod or a rusty spotted Cat, where are they kept?

Aren't Kod kod south american? If so, there will be many in South American zoos, or maybe people will even keep them as pets, like they do with grey breasted parakeet..

Don't the Aspinall parks keep rusty spotted cat?

Aspinall still keep rusty-spotted cats. I've never seen them, nor when Colchester kept them.

Hi dudes. I was lucky enough to see and photograph rusty spotted cats at Port Lympne 2 years ago now. one was sat on a stump in perfect light almost posing for me! This was the only time I've seen them in about 3 visits to the park. They are extremely small. But gorgeous.

My tip would be to visit Tropical Realm in the afternoon if you want to see the tuataras, they don't show themselves much in the mornings.

Spectacled bears are a must see and if your lucky you might see bush dogs which are really funny to watch.

I'm scared of bears as they like to lick me!

I saw the previous Baby Tapirs Londo, Zak and Lyta. I believe that Lyta has now moved to Lithuania.

How many tapirs has Chester zoo kept in the past, and of which species?
