1.0 blue crane from zoo chleby Will move in 26 feb

I had no idea Chleby keeps blue cranes currently. Prague had 2 chicks last year (1 parent-reared and 1 reared by red-crowned adoptive pair), Dvur Kralove had 1 chick (parent-reared), so maybe it will be one of these that chleby obtained. It´s nice to see more cooperation between Europe and Thailand.

must be like that The Czech Republic and zpot have been cooperating since 2015 There will definitely be future cooperation.

That FB post mentions those sarus cranes will be released free in Vietnam. Could you write more details about this reintroduction program?
It is a joint MOU between VZA and ZPOT on wildlife exchange and conservation. In 2021, Vietnam contacted ZPOT to request cooperation in requesting Sarus Cranes for breeding and releasing back into the wild At Dong Tap And we have been working continuously, both surveying the area, setting up a breeding center and Soft releasing pens. Until now, this batch of Sarus Cranes has been trained to find food naturally since they were at the Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo.

The first Aldraba tortoise at the Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo has hatched It is derived from only 1.3 parents.

Hi

Does anyone know nif this zoo still has these species?
- Thomson's gazelle
- Springbok

It's listed on Zootierliste, but the data seems to be quite old.

I'm planning to visit this zoo in a few weeks, but might change plans if these species are not around anymore.
