Does Crow (Centre for the Rehabilitation Of Wildlife) in Durban count?
I almost visited a couple of years ago, I ended up stood outside of it and I almost had a spontaneous visit but my family had other ideas.Possibly the Lake District Coast Aquarium. While I don't know for absolutely certain whether or not other Zoochatters have been there, it looks as if I'm the only person who's ever uploaded photos from there to this site. Granted this aquarium is no Blue Planet, Sea Life or The Deep, it's a small place with not much to attract Zoonerds, but it's the closest animal collection to where I live and I've been visiting semi-regularly for years.
Back in July 2019, I had to request for a ZooChat gallery to be made for these 15 German zoos:
Affen + Vogelpark Eckenhagen
Drachenwelt Reptile Zoo
Dunnwald Wildlife Park
Gronau Zoo
Tierpark Alsdorf
Wildfreigehege Nottler Berg
Wildpark Gangelt
Wildpark Reuschenberg
Tiergehege Kaisergarten
TerraZoo
Tiergarten Monchengladbach
Tierpark Petermoor
Tierpark Strohen
Olderdissen Zoo
Gronau Zoo
And a zoo that I claim to know best out of all zoochatters, but I think some of you have been there:
Westküstenpark St. Peter-Ording
I've been to Leesburg. I'm probably the first to go to Barn Hill Preserve in DE.
A while ago, I visited a crappy little roadside zoo in north Georgia on a family trip. The exhibits were horrifying, but they had some shocklingly rare species such as night monkeys and spotted linsang. The zoo had a drive through safari portion which seemed to be quite popular, but the walkthrough zoo area was empty.
I visited zoos in Milan, Verona and Brescia in 1983. Has anyone else been to these zoos?
Safari North Wildlife Park (?)(Crow Wing County, Minnesota, United States)
-Gabbert Raptor Center (St. Paul, MN)
-Shamba Safari (Neshkoro, WI)
There's also several collections I've visited that I know I am one of only two ZooChatters to have visited (with the other person being @snowleopard in all but one of those cases).
Sadly,no. They claimed it was a linsang, but it was asleep during my visit, so I only got a good look at its backside.Do you have a photo of the "linsang"? There aren't any in the USA... Night monkeys have become extremely common in roadside zoos.
