I visited a month ago. Great herp watching in the trails around Powder Valley, I found three new reptiles for my year list.Not technically a zoo but theres a place in St. Louis called Powder Valley Nature Center which is a little educational facility about Missouri wildlife that features some live herps and fish. Never seen it mentioned on Zoochat before. Its inside a park that is a good place to see some animals in the wild like deer and turkeys. Its a pretty neat place and I recommend stopping by if you're ever in the area.
I've been to this one, as well as the Zoologico de Sao Paulo.Hello.
Brazil:
- Aquário Municipal de Santos (Santos, SP);
There are lots of wildlife parks in Europe, and interesting zoos in Asia, Africa and South America, which are completely not mentioned on this forum. Some have interesting species or exhibits. So a challenge: did anybody visit a zoo which no other zoochatter visited? Can you describe what animals are there?
Hey, thanks for informing me! Also I forgot to mention Complexo Ambiental Cyro Gevaerd (Balneário Camboriú, SC).I've been to this one, as well as the Zoologico de Sao Paulo.![]()
Yes. Why?@Batto have you been to reptilienzoo oberammergau?
Yes. Why?
I have been to the Reptile Zoo and i hope to go there again tomorrow. I have requested a gallery.
None of the species you've mentioned is rare in captivity and the wild, even though many in situ populations of the timber rattlesnake are declining.rare species like Mangrove Snake, Indian Cobra, Puff Adder and Timber Rattlesnake
