The burrowing owl chick at the national aviary can be seen from today to June 16

Finally visiting the national aviary for the first time since I was a young child on Sunday. If I enjoy my trip, I will register for a membership, and then this news feed should become more active

BIG NEWS FOR CONSERVATION: the aviary has five Guam rail chicks born, and if you don't know, they are extinct in the wild

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to the aviary, and will get a membership in 2018.

The national aviary now has a third mammal species, a baby southern three banded armadillo
