At least four Reticulated Pythons have hatched at Melbourne Zoo in the past year or so. One was on-show during my visit earlier in the year with Macleay's Water Snake.

A female lion cub has been born to their pair Mlizni and Nairibi and has been named Nyra. The zoo’s first lion birth in 23 years. The cub was born back in April and is now on-show - reported on their Fb page.
Plains zebra birth:
The National Zoo and Aquarium have announced the birth of their 29th zebra foal.
The filly was born to Tambo and Johari on Father’s Day Weekend, which also confirms the mother of the previous foal (Thuli, who was born earlier this year) was Kiva.

The zebra foal born September 6 has been named ‘Amani’, following a naming competition held by the zoo.
