Hi, I`m watching Nationwide on the RTE player right now. It seems to be about animal sanctuaries. I never knew that monkey sanctuary existed.

I guess by joining here I`ll find out more about these places and their existence.
 
I cant get the latest nationwide on RTE website yet hopefully it will be available soon. I was aware of the sanctuary. I think they have mostly Capuchin monkeys housed on two islands, they may also have a mangabey of some species?. It is surprising how many little places like this there are around the country.
 
Yes I believe so but they were not mentioned on the program. Do you know how many Mangabeys they got? They have 22 monkeys there all living on different Islands!
 
As far as I know Newquay sent 2,they were very old when Newquay sent them so if they are still alive the must be very ancient by now.
