Nearest UK Zoo

Sewerby Zoo is my nearest and I visited on both of my days off last week and again on Saturday when I had taken holiday. My days off this week are tomorrow and Friday so hopefully I'll be visiting on one or both days.

I'm inbetween Dudley and Chester Zoos. I visited Dudley in October last year. I haven't been to Chester since before the pandemic.

Marwell is my nearest "major" zoo, but I technically live slightly closer to New Forest Wildlife Park.. visited Marwell 8 days ago

My closest is Shaldon Zoo, with Paignton Zoo being the more widely known collection nearby.

Also, you are exaggerating the price of entry by a ridiculous degree  entry to North Anston is £17.95 whilst the entry cost for Lincolnshire is £14.95 - so a visit to the latter would save £3 rather than £17 :D

You are quite correct, that is a very bad mistype on my end, apologies for the confusion caused.:rolleyes:

Wild Discovery has been on my radar for a while, I think I will visit for the first time this year, in Spring or Summer.
It’s certainly worth the visit - some unusual taxa at the place, Pardine genet, Philippine crocodile, Northern dry zone slender loris and Moholi bushbaby being standouts in the collection. Sadly, I’ve not spotted the bushbaby on my last few visits so, I think they maybe off-show these days.

Only around a mile from Kirkham and Wesham station, I may visit later in the year.

I am a Londoner; London Zoo is my local zoo.

I normally visit London Zoo at least once a fortnight and frequently combine spending the morning in the Zoological Society's Library and the afternoon in the zoo.
.
You are lucky, I would love to spend time in the society's library.
