Nepal's conservation efforts with Indian Rhinoceroses have worked very well - to the point in which some areas regularly see rhinos visiting towns and cities. Most people are happy to have the rhinos around, but injuries and struggles for making a living as well as dissatisfaction with government compensation remain challenges.

Thoughts on Nepal.

Obviously, they're great at boosting animal numbers. But now they need to work on being more inclusive of locals (clearly) and with tigers and rhinos conservationists need to get to the coexistence part of conservation. And boost the number of sambar, gaur, and wild water buffalo for the tigers.

One big plus in Nepal was the use of drones which has been successful, I am not sure as to why it took so long for this to be adopted for rhino protection in Africa.
