Nessie

I am quite sure that this image shows 3 common seals, or more probably the same common seal 3 times, stitched together with Photoshop (although other types of image processing software are of course available).
There is no data attached, which is also suspicious. A camera raw image, with a date, time and geotag attached is my first requirement for credibility.

they are very clearly seals! You can actually fully see the head on the left-hand one.

just been googling about this sighting and (shock!) everybody thinks this is a photo of three seals. I know! Amazing.

Anyway, I think this is my favourite article:
Iam Bremner sees Loch Ness Monster, NOT three seals playing together | Metro News
Stop the press – we have finally had a 100% legitimate sighting of the Loch Ness Monster.

The ‘creature’, which is definitely one long serpentine monster and NOT three separate seals bobbing through the water, was spotted by amateur photographer Ian Bremner when he was driving around the Highlands.

The 58-year-old was apparently searching for red deer, but instead stumbled across the rare sight of t̶h̶r̶e̶e̶ ̶s̶e̶a̶l̶s̶ ̶p̶l̶a̶y̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶g̶e̶t̶h̶e̶r̶ Nessie.

‘It’s a part of the world that always makes you second guess what you’re seeing,’ Ian said.

‘When you’re up there, you’re constantly looking in the water to see if you can spot anything in there.

‘This is the first time I’ve ever seen Nessie in the loch. It would be amazing if I were the first one to find her.’

He added that he’s ‘normally a bit of a sceptic when it comes to Nessie’, but now he’s changing his mind.

Shockingly, however, some of Ian’s friends have suggested that the photo actually does just show some seals.

‘I suppose it could be seals, but I’m not so sure,’ Ian said. ‘The more I think about it, the more I think it could be Nessie.’

Over the years there have been 1,081 apparent sightings of the Loch Ness Monster.

I did tell people that the disused canal at Chester zoo was to be converted into a Loch Ness monster echibit. No one would believe me. :p

My first look at the photo convinced me that it was a fake.

I'm glad everyone thinks the same as me but I bet the next fake photo on here will be the moon landings by the US.

I'm in the 50/50 bunch these days after many years of believing they were real but after what was said 3 years ago by a US spokes person that they would require to build a space station so as to be able to return a space craft back to earth.

Then the question I had at the time was well how did they do it before, but after getting my head into gear was the person stating the obvious as a runway would be needed in to days age.

of course "we" went to the moon! On the one hand you have a multitude of actual verifiable observable evidence to prove it to be true, and on the other you have the claims of people who don't understand the science and who are basically appealing to people who understand it even less than they do.

Just like the vaccination/anti-vaccination debate.

The world is full of idiots.

:p

They were certainly more real than the private collection keeping orangutan and bank cormorants was :p

How the Zoo Chat archives do make me smile....

Whilst on the believable / unbelievable, has anyone seen Mountain Monsters 'Bigfoot edition'. Those guys are superb. In one night they found a Bigfoots nest, Bigfoot stick throwing, whooping, came across a Bigfoot burial ground and obtained thermal images. The only thing I disagree with what they said throughout the show was that they thought they saw walnuts stored within the Bigfoot nest, I disagree here, I think they were actually unhatched Bigfoot eggs.

did you see them, or were they just saying it? They may have been saying walruses and you didn't catch it with the accent.

I saw them!, along with the nest which resembled a decent bit of civil engineering to be honest! The show is actually worth watching for entertainment purposes. It could be called Stone Cold Steve Austin v Bigfoot. These chaps make Bobo look like David Attenborough....:o

OK, I'll bite.

The moon landings weren't fake. Do you think they were?

I agree with FunkyGibbon. The Moon landings were true.

As a teenager I saw a piece of moon rock in a museum.

It had Moon written all the way through it:D

as I'm sure you are aware, Steve Austin actually did fight a Bigfoot, as can be seen in this documented and authenticated footage from the archives:

however I was referring to the WWE wrestler 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin ... you need to have watched WWE years ago! The trackers/trappers sound like him, southern redneck US (no offence!). ..open a can a whip ass.. etc :)

Its just gone midnight UK, I am off out Squatchin and Fox searching (moon landing ref; Room 237:)) now with my dachshund.

there is only one Steve Austin!

That particular episode is the one I always think of with regards to The Six Million Dollar Man although I did not until today know the Bigfoot was played by Andre The Giant! Kind of an amusing coincidence, is it not, Andre The Giant fighting Steve Austin? :p

Also I find it hard to think of The Six Million Dollar Man without thinking instead of The Muppets' version, The Six Dollar Man.

Interesting fact which I just made up, each hour-long episode of The Six Million Dollar Man only used ten minutes of film...

well I suppose seeing as how Pootle has turned a Nessie thread into a Bigfoot thread....
