Visited Sea Life Adventures recently. Alas, did not have the opportunity to take photographs.
Since my last visit many moons ago, they have added outdoor wood framed enclosures in the play area for non aquarium animals, with some new additions. These house Crab-eating Macaques,Meerkats and African Spur-thighed and Leopard Tortoises.
There is also a Butterfly House and Pangaea,a little tropical walkthrough with sound effect non animatronic dinosaur models.
Down in the lower exterior walkway beneath the footbridge where the Asian Small-clawed Otter enclosure was from my last visit, The Otters species are still there, alongside a Humboldty Penguin pool and a small enclosure holding Yellow Mongoose
The aquarium is sectioned into roughly. Coasts,Abyss,Amazonia,Coral Reefs,The Deep,Kraken/Atlantis (themed) and a non touch Ray pool
These are what Southend SLA have information signage for. Apart from four species signs i could not see due to that section being dark (one said Mine Urchin or something?). FROM ENTRANCE TO EXIT
