New Gallery Request Thread 2022

Could you please add the Aquarium in Porto Moniz, Madeira (Portugal). Its called "Aquário da Madeira".
Thank you in advance

Can we adjust the title of Audubon Insectarium gallery and tag from (CLOSED)? They recently re-opened in a new location inside the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas. However, they are separate ticketed entries and billed as separate parts of the Audubon Institute.

Hi can we please have a gallery for Abu Dhabi Sea World.

Might as well mention some from Quebec I have albums of photos for.
-Familizoo
-Zoo Animalia (at the location where Zoo de St-Edouard was)
-Marine Mammal Interpretation Centre (Centre d'interprétation des mammifères marins)
-Musee du Fjord

I take my chance a second time, is it possible to create a new gallery for the French zoo "Espace zoologique de Saint Martin la Plaine", I have some pictures of the last Cercopithecus ascanius whitesidei in European Zoos.

New galleries aren't being created right now.

New update coming?

No, there's an abundance of facilities that were being requested (mostly in the USA) that had no media being uploaded for them. From page 20:

At this point I'm going to have to ask @jobalba to pause creating new zoos and galleries from this thread.

We have had an explosion of new facilities being added - and many don't have any content and are simply creating clutter.

I will discuss with the moderators and come up with a new plan for how we will manage new requests.

Could you please create a gallarey for Jurassic Turtles, Porto Moniz, Madeira, Portugal and for Monte Palace Tropical Garden, Funchal, Madeira, Portugal when you start creating new galleries again.
The 'German - others' gallery is btw starting to fill up with pictures from zoos without their own gallery

I really don't like uploading into 'other' galleries, and I have a lot of photos for two French institutions that aren't included in the gallery.

These are Muséum-Aquarium de Nancy and Parc Animalier de Serre-Ponçon.

I also noticed there are quite a few countries missing from South America, including Suriname and the Guyanas. These aren't priorities for me right now, but I am visiting next year and I won't be able to upload any photos of Parimaribo zoo into a Suriname-others gallery if there aren't any Suriname galleries, let alone wildlife.

Also: Klein Costa Rica in the Netherlands has been closed for almost exactly a year (31st of October 2022).

Hello,
It appears that we have no galleries and forums for the country of Jamaica. I have visited in December, and have some wildlife photos as well as photos from Jamaica Swamp Safari and Rocklands Bird Sanctuary (wild native birds coming to the feeders in the morning). Not sure if either of these two places warrants a dedicated gallery, but at least a gallery for the country would be welcome, since some of the species that I photographed over there appear to not be represented in the gallery (red-billed streamertail, Jamaican tody, and some others)

I have a similar problem with Suriname and the Guyanas and I took it up with the moderators earlier this year. According to them the system of adding new countries isn't working reliably and they're working to fix it with no ETA on when it will finish...

Requesting to have galleries added for

-Cape Safari Park (Cape Girardeau, MO) Cape Safari Park
-Wild Animal Safari Springfield (Springfield, MO) Safari Park | Animal Safari | Drive Through Zoo

(I do not recommend going to these places but I have been and have pictures that can function as a warning to others)
No new galleries will be created in the foreseeable future, Simon has stated he first wants to upgrade the site before new galleries can return and there is no time table on when that will happen.

You can upload your photos into the "United States - Other" gallery in the mean time, however. That's what I've been doing even though its not ideal.
