New Gallery Request Thread 2022

I found a few duplicate zoos in the United States gallery. The listings/galleries should probably be merged into one to save up space and confusion.

Albuquerque Aquarium should merge with ABQ Biopark Aquarium

BUGarium should merge with ABQ Biopark BUGarium

EFBC’s Feline Conservation Center should merge with Exotic Feline Breeding Compound

Exotic Bird Sanctuary should merge with Free Flight Exotic Bird Sanctuary

O. Orkin Insect Zoo should merge with Smithsonian Museum Of Natural History (its just an exhibit within, and a small one at that. I don’t think this needs to be listed as two separate facilities).

Parker Manatee Aquarium should merge with The Bishop Museum Of Science & Nature (again the aquarium is just an exhibit within the museum)

Also, should these facilities in the USA map & gallery be removed? I'm wondering what the rules are for the future, so admins can weigh in:

Serpentarium - the only info on here links to an online pet store. I can't find any info on if they have (or ever had) any animal exhibits. Are pure pet stores allowed to be given galleries?

Stearns Homestead - this farm only has domestic animals. Are domestic-only farms allowed to be given zoochat galleries?

Wagon Wheel Safari - there is absolutely no info on this place on zoochat and when I search online the only thing it brings up is Wagon Trails Animal Park in Vienna, OH. Are they the same facility? If yes, can it be renamed and the links added to go to the proper website? Also this facility is permanently closing on September 5.

A couple of other locations that might warrant removal from the US map/gallery

Lana Bella Alpaca Farms - a wool farm that only has alpacas, and google says its permanently closed.

Mount Dora Aquarium - never seems to have been a real place, just a long-abandoned twitter account. There is a store that sells aquarium equipment in Mount Dora, FL but it has no animal exhibits.

Also can the following places be updated to say they are permanently closed?

Dolphinaris Arizona
Farmony’s Safari Adventure
Forty South Farm & Zoo
National Park Aquarium
Organization For Bat Conservation
Pier Aquarium
Portland Aquarium
Sunrise Side Exotics & Nature Trails
Wild Wilderness Drive-thru Safari

Can you add this facility to the United States section, please?

Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Fort Royal, Virginia

Also, just a slight note to @SusScrofa thread, Glacier Ridge Animal Farm in Van Dyne, Wisconsin, is closing this year as well, so if you could move that page to (Closed) as well that would be swell.

It's two separate facilities why is it getting covered in the same thread?

Why would a private facility that can't be visited* get it's own listing? If it really needs its own thread, do what Kudu21 did with Audubon Species Survival Center. Freeport-McMoRan Audubon Species Survival Center News
Threads don't always need facility tags.

*Most years they open it once, but the only visible areas are classrooms for lectures. No animals can be seen.

Not trying to be contentious, but why do these places need the full proper names? The long names are confusing and cause annoying title wrapping when tagging threads.
