New Game Idea

Because of the "good weather omen" I would say Ring-tailed lemur but I think it's taxonomically not that difficult to place......
 
It is not a ring-tailed lemur. There are several taxomic discussions about this species on different levels (like family/genus/species).
 
Hope it's not a snail because I realy know little about Madagascar snails... ;)
My next guess is Narrow-striped mongoose.
 
It is not a snail, though for most malagasy snails their status is unclear, it is a bird though.
 
Being a bird, it should be a little more easy for me ( but it isn't ! ).
Even so. I'll give it a try and guess Velvet asity ?

Hello jbnsbn99. This animal may be more likely to try and mate with you than with females of his species.

Is it a mesite. Supposedly, the furcula of a mesite can be used to predict good weather.
 
Not an asity or a mesite, but you are coming closer ;) The species is under certain views not even a malagasy endemic.

Cuckoo roller is correct. This species is according to HBW & Birdlife now in it's own order, instead of as a family within the roller order. And there is also uncertainty about the number of cuckoo roller species, varying from 1 to 3, if one recognizes the subspecies as valid species.

As nobody has guessed either animal for some time. I'll give a couple of clues.

The male animal that could repel animals also didn't want a stir fry.

The animal discovered on a TV - think about the TV (or perhaps a computer if you've got iPlayer).

The TV animal isn't per chance some type of insect attracted by the light of the tv?
