Hello my names George, I've been lurking around here for a while and decided it was high time I made a profile. I've been interested in zoos and wildlife since before I can remember, and after living with London Zoo on my doorstep for the three years of my degree my yen for the zoological has really flared up again, coinciding neatly with me finding this site.

I'm back home from London now so the zoos nearest me are Linton and Hamerton, but I'm still a member of ZSL and I've made the trip back to Regent's Park a few times on my days off since. However, despite not exactly being up the road for me my "home zoo" has always been and likely will always be Whipsnade.

As of last week I've been quietly stoked at having seen all 8 bear species at long last, rounding out the list with Inca at Dudley Zoo.

In any case, that's me, glad to be here.

Free entry to London Zoo and Whipsnade, with some discounts at the gift shop and cafes. You also get a magazine subscription and free parking. Really the unlimited entry is the main thing, I think if you're going to either zoo more then four times a year it pays off.

That sounds good, especially the free entry and parking! ZSL had quite expensive food last time I went (though that's not unusual for a zoo and I believe the restaurant/café is privately owned or at least independent from ZSL).
