Marwell Wildlife New hippo house

As many for you know, i have done a thread already saying that i thought the hippo house at marwell was not the best and i recentley read they are either building a new house or just updating there current house. Is this true? Dose any one know when work is predicted to start? Many thanks

As far as I know there will be a new Hippo House in the centre of the paddock they are now in as part of the new wetlands area with walkways from either side of the zoo through the flamingos with a squirrel monkey island and cranes area thats what I saw but that may change as the next think to be done I understand is a new tropical house this after the new rhino/zebra/oryx area.
