The usual story: a couple of charismatic taxa up (though not by much); many, many more taxa down:

Despite the wording of this article, the Christmas Island Forest Skink is now listed as extinct, not extinct in the wild. Also not mentioned is the up-listing of the Yellow-breasted bunting to critically endangered (a case that parallels to passenger pigeon far too closely).
