Hey Zoochatters, after nearly a year of lurking, I've decided to join this amazing website. I cannot wait to talk to everyone about animals, zoos, fauna etc. I'm from Ireland, and (hopefully ) should have updates on Irish zoos. I pla on being, at minimum, a zookeeper when I'm older (of not have my own zoo). I am only in school still. I've hada fascination with animals all my life, and have no1 to talk to animals about xd. Thank you for spending your time reading this. Can't wait to talk to you.

Welcome. At least one forum member, stubeanz, did start his own zoo, the Cedars Nature Center, so it has happened. There are also several people here who have become zoo keepers and other types of zoo professionals. Learning about how the profession really works and how to network your way into it will serve you well.
