Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. I live in Australia and have been working with animals for about 30 years now including research species, native mammals/birds, primates and carnivores.
Some interesting comments regarding Orang Utans. In my experience adult males can be impatient regardless if they are Sumatran, Bornean or cross-breds. It can often depend on his background as to how tolerant he will be with offspring - same for females!
