I am another zoo fan, with a particular interest in the history of zoos (I blame the book ‘London Zoo from Old Photographs’!). I’ve got books about zoo history, and spend almost as much time looking at the old buildings and enclosures as I do the animals! I’ve even started collecting zoo memorabilia as and when I come across it. At the zoo I’m more likely to be carrying a sketchbook than a camera. I’ve been lurking around for a while now and finally plucked up the courage to join properly. Been having a lot of fun looking through the galleries, especially the zoos I remember visiting as a child (Whipsnade, London and Windsor). Looking forward to joining in the forums
