My name is Mary MWA and I just joined the Zoo Chat on August 13, 2025. I am retired and have been a volunteer at the San Diego Zoo for just over 1 year. I have become interested in conservation and learning more about what can be done to help the wildlife, especially those that are threatened or endangered. I found this group chat in my research about bonobos, one of my favorite animals. My hobby is fused and stained glass art and I would like to figure out how to portray some of the animals in glass art. I am a widow and still grieving the loss of my husband so the zoo is my happy place.
