New moderators

I have appointed four new moderators - @FunkyGibbon, @lintworm, @DavidBrown and @Arizona Docent who have all accepted my request to help out with running the forums.

Please make them welcome in their new roles and be a bit forgiving as they find their feet! I'm sure they will do a great job.

We still have @TeaLovingDave @zooboy28 and @Chlidonias helping us out too - thanks guys!

Moderators are a volunteer position, they commit their time for the benefit of the community and in return, I think they should deserve our gratitude and respect (I am certainly grateful for the help they give me!).
 
Congratulations to the new moderators...all great choices! I'm in regular contact with the two based in the USA and they are fine individuals. There has been a changing of the guard as at least 2-3 of the old moderators no longer visit this site with much frequency.

Are you sure, or have they just been very well covered up by the mods? :P

From what I understand, the moderators have a tab at the top that looks something like this:

Where they keep all the intelligence and the bodies of banned members and murder victims.
Or maybe rather than MI6, it's more like Area 51 where they do their secret autopsies on trolls.


I do appreciate all the work that the moderators do though in sorting out the forum so it's all nice and shiny and organised for everyone else.

All great choices for the job; I found myself nodding in agreement when I saw the appointments. Good luck to all of you, and a thank you to the senior moderators as well for their ongoing efforts!
 
Don't worry he is alive and well . He may not have posted or been on but he is still posting elsewhere, and talking zoo's with people in the know.
