I came across an interesting link yesterday. I was looking at the Flickr page of one of my contacts, The Aperture Man, who I have known for years on the NikonCafe. He has just posted a splendid photo of a sparrowhawk taken from a permanent hide which he had hired for a session.
The people involved have a set of hides in the Midlands and in southern Scotland, and hope to have others soon. I was particularly interested to see that they plan to have one at a black grouse lek as I happened to tell SMR a few days ago how much I would like to see and photograph one. It looks quite expensive and of course there are no guarantees, but it might turn out to be a brilliant experience.
