For several months, @evilmonkey239 and I have been coming up with ideas for an artbook/paleoart series themed around an alternate history where humans entered North America several thousand years later - allowing pleistocene megafauna tosurvive into the modern day. This artbook will chronicle humanity's interactions with everything from mammoths to dire wolves. Classic scenes of American wildlife, such as hunting shots and paintings, will be recreated with this iconic megafauna.
But we cant do it without your help! Similar to @cmkosemen's All Your Yesterdays, this will be an amalgamation of the best art you guys can create based on these ideas! The more creative the better!
Another major piece will be accounts of these events. Teddy Roosevelt style stories of the great feats of individual animals and the untouched wilderness will be line the pages as well! Ill be making several contributions here and in the art department, as will Simon. I'd really like to see what ends up coming of this! Either DM your submissions to me or Simon on Twitter (@crocutamatata and @simonthesly74) or post them publicly under the hashtag #NewPleistocene !
