For a number of years now, Roger Williams Park Zoo has been involved in conservation work for the timber rattlesnake, an endangered species native to New England. Recently, one of the zoo's herpetology keepers published some new research on the zoo's timber rattlesnake conservation projects, and I thought some of you might be interested in reading about this zoo-based conservation program for a local species.
