Nutria is also an alternate name for the Coypu (Nutria is the name I prefer).

I know - that's why I noticed its different use in Spanish.

@filipinos- As you get in more depth with the Spansh language you learn that 'hables' is actually a correct form of the verb 'hablar' (to speak) although it doesn't fit in the sentence I accidently used it on and only makes sense with the word 'no' before it.

several of the Americans have thought my avatar is a rodent. I could just post photos of otters on the Guess The Species thread and half the Americans would be stumped!

thanks for the link. So it seems the Bornean splits are based solely on the facial patterns and not at all on genetics. It will be interesting to see what happens if anyone does some genetic studies.
