New Wildlife Park

Brilliant news: I've got relatives who live very near by, so looking forward to seeing it. :)

For anyone interested, a website for the park, which will be called Bodmin Moor Wildlife Park, has been set up and includes a photographic list of the 11 species that will be present when it opens in April.

Bodmin Moor Wildlife Park

An interesting idea (and the more wolverines in the UK the better as far as I can see!) but I can't help feeling the region they're in is (if anything) a little over-saturated, animal-attraction-wise. Most areas of the UK will just about support a zoo weekend, Devon and Cornwall could easily fill a zoo fortnight! Still, they've got a very clear and distinctive theme, which will help, so good luck to them.

Definitley agree on the wolverines; both this place and the NFWP are bringing some in next year alone!
As to the location, they've probably made the best choice as to its direction, filling in a unique, HWP like niche in the west country that complements it's rugged surroundings, which seems to be coming more popular: I certainly don't think it would work if they went the way of YWP per say, with Newquay, Exmoor, Paignton and Dartmoor surrounding them on all corners there. And the idea of having a lot of the education downloaded straight to visitor's smart phones when they visit is another good idea that's embracing a world where we seem to be relying ever more on these things. :)
