The slideshow and news post are not hotlinks, so there is no way to view them.

That's only a few miles up the road from where I live. That'll be marvellous if it happens. Maybe I could even get a job there if I'm lucky. I wish the chap behind the idea all the best.

Not that far from me either it could make a double visit with Linton if i ever get the time to go though, good luck new zoo keeper. I think you'd be a god asset for them zooman64

Rather too close to both Hamerton and Linton for its own sake and theirs, I'd suggest.

It isn't the ideal situation for the 3 other zoos nearby and they may suffer a little to begin with, but on opening the link i found a list of exactly the animals i expected. Unless the collection expands, i can't see it being a serious threat in the longer term. I would suspect that likely additions to the list may be tapir & bennetts wallaby, rather than andean bear, jaguar, tayra or wombats
As for the zoo's own prospects, since it is already a private collection, it may not need a massive number of visitors to make it viable.

Where it could cause problems, is if it has a low entrance fee. This might damage Shepreth more than the others, as it is overpriced for what it offers in my opinion and the extra cost for a family of 4 or 5 may make it less attractive.
