New zoo opening ....market research!

So the opportunity has arisen for me to open a new zoo (obviously licence dependent etc will be doing everything to meet the regulations)

So, what do you like/dislike most in zoos in terms of species, enclosure design, everything! Zoos you work at/have visited what would you have done differently if you had been able to start from scratch?

We’ll be setting up with birds of prey initially then bringing in reps mammals and other birds. Not going to disclose anything on location as of yet but will keep everyone up to date in future.

(PS I know it’s a massive thing to do - but we do have experience in the business so please no negativity x )

(If the zoo hasn't been built yet) concrete pits, and square rock work

Here is an example of both. A tiger pit at the La zoo. see the unnatural and quite strange rock work, it's an old type of rock work but some zoos still have these exhibits.
