Newly discovered / described species 2014

.....so not so much a new species "discovered" as a new species hidden in plain sight for almost two hundred years?

That PDF is a bit stingy VC, its missing the 30 pages between the abstract and the conclusion! :D

Essentially, this new species, the Black-tailed Antechinus, was split from the Dusky Antechinus. It is found in north-east NSW and south-east QLD, and is likely to be rare. There are none (of either species) in captivity as far as I am aware.
