Newly discovered / described species 2014

Thanks for sharing VC. Is this the first major change to primate taxonomy since Handbook of the Mammals of the World 3 came out?

They actually named three new species, N. kayan being a newly discovered lineage:

...also elevated two subspecies to the species level, meaning that the loris formerly known as Nycticebus menagensis now consists of four species, three of which live in the forests of Borneo: Nycticebus bancanus, Nycticebus borneanus, and Nycticebus kayan. Nycticebus menagensis is limited to the Philippines.

The split is actually discussed in HMW3, if I recall rightly.

But not included in that volume?

I think it is included, actually. As I do not own a copy, having only read a library copy, I cannot check. It certainly does include a comprehensive split of Perodicticus potto though.
