Newly discovered / described species 2016

Another article about the new species ( here with another genus-name ? ) :

New amphibian species found in SW China - Global Times
it's interesting, there are two different papers on Zootaxa by the same author using different generic names.

Leptolalax is the first paper: A new species of the genus Leptolalax (Anura: Megophryidae) from Mt. Gaoligongshan of western Yunnan Province, China | YANG | Zootaxa

Leptobrachium is the second paper: A new species of the genus Leptobrachium (Anura: Megophryidae) from the Gaoligongshan Mountain Range, China | YANG | Zootaxa

I may look into that later, for my own interest's sake!

now that I have had an opportunity to look into this better - they are in fact two different species. I think it is a rather unfortunate choice in using the same specific name for both, given that certain species of the family have been placed in both Leptolalax and Leptobrachium.

Photos of both species can be seen on these pages:
Leptobrachium: Species New to Science: [Herpetology • 2016] Leptobrachium tengchongense • A New Species of the Genus Leptobrachium (Anura: Megophryidae) from the Gaoligongshan Mountain Range, Yunnan, China
Leptolalax: Species New to Science: [Herpetology • 2016] Leptolalax tengchongensis • A New Species of the Genus Leptolalax (Anura: Megophryidae) from Mt. Gaoligongshan of western Yunnan Province, China

Thanks for putting some time in this "problem", really stange, confusing and not very smart to give 2 new, relative closely releated species the same specific name, the more because the come from the same region and are discribed in the same year.
