Does anyone know if captive White-Faced Capuchins are hybrids or a specific species? They are quite rare in the UK but I'm wondering what their genetic makeup is.At the start of this month a White-faced capuchin (Cebus capucinus) was born.
Recently a new species arrived at the zoo, namely the Western black-crowned crane (Balearica pavonina pavonina). Two cranes named 'Turnip' and 'Swede' arrived at the zoo.

This is great news, this species is extremely evolutionary distinct, critically endangered and also was previously only held in one UK zoo (London). I hope this is the start of more zoos getting this species.A newly arrived Big-headed Turtle will soon go on display in the tropical house later this month: Tiny turtle makes a big impact at Newquay Zoo - Newquay Zoo
