Mother is Indira. I saw a video where the father was called "Kedua" or somerhing like this.
The zoo welcomed another female in 2015, called Kumpat, but I don't know if she is still there. Maybe @lintworm can tell us how many tapirs he saw in july ?

I saw only 2, each in a separate enclosure.

@Antoine
I did not find any information concerning TUMPAT, she was alive in fall 2017 yet.

The older male BENGTIE (*in Copenhagen on september 17th 2007, arrivef october 29th 2008) died in january/february 2016 and KEDUA arrived on july 26th 2016.

I recognized a birth in 2017, but did not find any further information. I think this female died.

@BjoernN Unfortunately not but I know there was another birth in 2014/2015 and the calf died too.

At the moment, the new calf is just the second to live after Saola, born in 2012, JUly 19th.

Here the new map for 2021 :

We can see the new boardwalk near the red circuit. It's quite interesting as it will allow visitors to see some species only visible from the train circuit (like the sumatran tigers for example).

Other thing is the change of enclosures for the Sri Lankan leopards and the bantengs. The second return to their previous enclosure. For the leopards, I don't understand where is the new enclosure and it seems their past one will not host other animals (nothing on the map).

@Onychorhynchus coronatus This is one of the best french zoos located in a nice site. The major part of the animals has large enclosure, quite natural. The major problems are a collection focussed on mammals and buildings on the small side. A must see in France in my opinion.

You must read @lintworm review in this thread to have a better idea : Into the unknown: zoos of western France

I definitely share that view, I visited CERZA many years ago and was really very impressed (first place I ever saw an Indian rhinoceros :)) by what I saw at this zoo.

I was just wondering how you personally rated it amongst the zoos of your country.
