Tiergarten Schönbrunn News from Schonbrunn

Hello. I have seen that the jungle building of the Vienna zoo is closed for renovations. Does anyone know where the bird Psarisomus dalhousiae is? I've seen that some people have been able to take pictures of it, but I don't understand if it's inside or outside that building. Can someone inform me? Or point me on the map to the spot where it is located?

There is a small glass house next to the main tropical house. You can see it from the upper viewing platform into the polar bear/red panda exhibit.

Intending to visit the zoo at the end of June and had a few questions I was hoping could be answered.
1. Are the tahr and takin on display yet?
2. Any rarities I should be keeping my eye on?
3. In the bird house I am particularly interested in seeing the 2 species of bee-eaters and the blue backed manakins any advice for seeing these species?
4. ZTL says that the zoo houses bearded vultures, egyptian vultures, frilled lizards and lesser antillean iguanas where in the zoo are these species kept?

Many thanks in advance for any help given.

I am gonna answer your questions:

1.) The Himalayan Thar yes, the takins not, sadly
2.) I am sorry, I am not into birds, fish or amphibians but for the mammals I want to tell:
bear colobus monkeys, giant Pandas (ofc), the coming Onager and Pangolins will not arrive until then but if you are interested in reptiles: Do not miss the "Artenschutzentrum", which you can find near the Buffalos.
3.) With enough patience you can see them, but the house is very closely, but good for the birds, I never see more then 2-3 species because they can hide themselves well.
4.) there are no bearded vultures anymore, the Egyptians vultures are next to the bird house, the other two should be in the Artenschutzzentrum, but I don't know sadly, good chance, they are just behind the scenes.

I hope, my answers will help you a bit

@Stygi Probably the rarest bird has been mentioned just 2 post before yours ;) Most other rare species are at the "Artenschutzhaus". Maybe also noteworthy is the meadow viper which have an outdoor terrarium that you can find next to the giraffe house. Coming from the main entrance don't go straight through the house, but took the other exit on the right side.

I've never had problems with the birds at the bird house. Just take some time and be sure to check also the higher points of the house. The tropical bee eaters usually sit high up at the two sites where the doors are located.
